Whitney D. Olson has been training teachers on how to teach historical thinking skills since 2014 when she became the coordinator of National History Day- CA and has been involved in supporting student inquiry through National History Day since 2000. In 2011, Whitney received the History Channel National History Day Educator of the Year Award.
