Michele Widen-Hines, possess 18 years experience in secondary education. She taught language arts, reading intervention, and social science at the middle school level and worked as a social science teacher, academic counselor, and assistant administrator at the high school level. Michele regularly mentored new teachers, and was passionate about working with students and families in helping students achieve their education goals. In 2015 Michele embarked on a new path within education when she joined Pearson as a Literacy and Humanities Curriculum Specialist where she enjoys working with educators throughout California.
