Dawniell Black is currently the Program Specialist for Curriculum and Professional Learning for K-12 History Social Science in Elk Grove, California. Prior to this, she taught a variety of HSS courses that included AP US History and AP Human Geography for 10 years at Franklin High School. She has participated in and coordinated professional development opportunities with the History Projects at both UC Berkeley and UC Davis. In addition she is on the Learning Advisory Council of the California Museum and served on the CCSS Board of Directors for the last two years.
