Adriana Gutierrez currently teaches fourth-grade in East San Jose. She has taught fourth-grade for the last four years and served as Lead Teacher. In 2015, she earned a B.S. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child studies and a minor in Sociology from Santa Clara University. While at Santa Clara she was involved in many student organizations including Lead; a program for first-generation college students. Adriana is a Richard J. Riordan Award recipient and a Provost Scholar. She graduated from Santa Clara University in 2018 with a Bilingual Masters in Teaching through the ExCEL program in the School of Education and Psychology. Her interests include blending learning, differentiated learning, data, social justice, diversity, and inclusion.
