Adam Wemmer has been teaching middle school and high school history in the Garden Grove Unified School District for 21 years, and he has been an adjunct instructor in History Education courses at Cal State Long Beach and UC Irvine for the past 10 years. Supporting pre-service and practicing teachers has been the focus of his mentoring, and he has written curriculum on a range of topics in modern US History. Building literacy in terms of content, skills, and citizenship with both secondary students and pre-service teacher candidates has long been his passion.
