Judge Bernal will cover the benefits and pitfalls of the use of technology in teaching. Recently having built the non-profit Roberto Adobe & Suñol House museum, Judge Bernal studied the topic of introducing technology to reach modern audiences. This consideration was at the forefront of his educational program design.

Judge Bernal will also explore technology to capture imagination in the classroom and on the World Wide Web. “Use of technology will play an important role in telling our history," predicts Bernal. “The past will be our future on the Internet. The availability of resources for social studies on the Internet has grown exponentially in the last 10 years and will continue to blossom. Soon, almost all data will be retrievable on your computer without even leaving your home. School children have the whole world available because of the Internet. So we, as teachers, ought to join the adventure. It helps to have a smart approach."
