The purpose of this session is to focus on ways of integrating the principles of Critical Media Studies in Social Science Classrooms. How do we use multi-modal literacies to evaluate the ways in which identity and power are reinforced and challenged? Strategies, texts, and applications will be shared so participants leave with a way to implement immediately.
