Nigeria is the eighth largest country in the world. When people think of Nigeria’s past, they often think of slavery, colonialism, ethnic tensions, and Boko Haram. What other factors shaped Nigeria’s complex history? What will be the country’s future? Session examines primary sources, readings, and a role-play simulation about Biafran secession found in the Choices’ curriculum (provided).
