Recent scholarship underscores how WWI transformed American society and why the war is relevant for understanding our contemporary world. Through an exploration of an array of primary sources (music, visuals, and texts), this session will examine two new lesson lesson plans and answer essential questions related to the role of women and the importance of music in warfare.
